Agreed. Looks like a commercial product.

My boss needs something like that 12 Channel in his new room. ;)

Re: Wayne's headphone amp build

Those 7506's are really efficient headphones. It doesn't take much to make those hurt the ears. My requirement for a headphone amp is that it must be able to drive a set of AKG 240M's loud enough to hear a mix while playing drums with earplugs in. (then cross fingers the click doesn't bleed  )

Re: ms matrix- at last

I bought a bunch of mono bypass boards from Volker, aka[silent:arts]. I threw together a really crude block diagram for mine today. I wish I was a wealthy man, because I'd pay Roger generously to make my ideas come to life. But until that day comes, I'll have to slooooowly assemble things myself.

Re: ms matrix- at last

Very Cool! I still haven't decided what I'll end up doing with mine. Make it stand-alone or throw it between two mono Picos to make a M/S compressor.

Re: Silver plated / Teflon insulated wire at Apex Jr.

I just ordered a bunch of wire and one of the new heat shrink assortments they just got in. http://www.apexjr.com/wire.html I was way off from his $20 order, because the prices are so cheap. I had to laugh when he told me. So, I ordered a Vifa speaker to make a Supercharged alarm clock. (Actually, I...

Re: Any opinions on this console?

$40K?? Empty. Yeah, no thanks. http://vintageking.com/Shop-New-Categories/New-Consoles/Tree-Audio-500-by-Inward-Connections I'd sooner drop the money on an actual API console. http://vintageking.com/Shop-New-Categories/New-Consoles/API-1608-Discrete-16-Channel-Console I've often wondered how practic...
