Re: Mid Side M-S Matrix Uses No Precision Resistors
How did you do the decoders with THAT1246's? I've done it before and it requires some tricks since the internal resistors do not have equal value. It added stages so I chose an alternate method Hello Wayne and the forum . Thank you again for hosting this forum where conversations like this can exis...

Re: Flat Balanced Input Moving Coil Phono Preamp Construction Information
Sorry if I missed it. Is there a BOM or a cart or a set up for this?

Maybe one of these? I love mine. I use it for trailer hitches, bridge girders, etc.

I found this. I beg your pardon, Wayne, if linking it turns out to be some copyright violation. Some of the schematics use an extra transformer winding for feedback.http://lcweb2.loc.gov/master/mbrs/recor ... Misc.).pdf

Re: ~QUESTIONS ABOUT "LOCAL"-NEGATIVE-FEEDBACK OUTPUT SECTIONS THAT ARE BASED ON A TERTIARY-WINDING OUTPUT TRANSFORMER~
Did you measure the signal coming off the tertiary when you energized the primary? The 9 ohms could mean there is a step up there too but might also just mean smaller wire diameter. Curious if the term you've used "tertiary winding" is that yours or is it in the spec sheet? The reason I as...

Re: Bootstrapped Op Amp Articles
I think I may have an excuse for trying a bootstrapped opamp circuit. In my case to minimize distortion. I was looking for an audio grade op amp for doing filters at +/-36V rails, where the non inverting configured inputs may see up to full rail voltage. Power output is very low but precision at lar...

Wow. That is impressive, especially after learning about the the details of the hum torture chamber you are running it in. That's a lot of gain and a lot of cable with all that stray field around. I think I might need one too.

Re: Out-of-band and Flux Loop Tests
I'll leave a 5 mm space on the PCB for a 1 nF film C for problematic RFI situations but its not required for stability. This post is a bit late to the party. Did you ever try with moving magnet inductances? Maybe some of your customers, couldn't imagine who they might be, would want to try running ...
