William Shatner & State FarmĀ® present "Eat, Fry, Love," a turkey fryer fire cautionary tale...
William Shatner loves deep-fried turkey, but over many Thanksgivings and Christmases he's made mistakes, burned himself, and nearly burned down his house. In this dramatic retelling, Bill shows us how dangerous turkey fryers can be.
It even has the "dingle-dangle."

Captain, wouldn't it be logical to use the Enterprise phaser banks for this? 1st Officer Spock :ugeek:

I am often disappointed by the over the top visual movie version of equipment failures, and then how simply they repair faults that created massive showers of sparks.

it can be amusing in very old SF, not more or less realistic, just more amusing.
