Texas Fall

Relax in southern comfort on the east bank of the Mississippi. You're just around the corner from Beale Street and Sun Records. Watch the ducks, throw back a few and tell us what's on your mind.

Texas Fall

Post by mediatechnology »

Thought it might be a good time to take a panoramic picture of the backyard during Texas' fall.

We're on an escarpment. Our creek is about 300 feet south and 60 feet downhill.
There are mostly Eastern Red Cedar, Elms, Oaks and Ash trees.

I've spent years trying to get the invasive species out including English Ivy, Chinese and Japanese Privet.
Nandina has also taken over but I usually leave it.

Nice shot. Nandina is considered invasive here in NC, but it's been around so long it's considered native by many.
