The lathe world is small. Everyone knows each other and are generally well behaved. We are all stuck together. It wasn’t an accident this went smoothly. Now that the price of lathes has skyrocketed the tech budget is a reasonable percentage of the purchase price. When they were a quarter the price no one wanted to pay what it cost to get them going.
