It's basically a spin out from another larger sound reinforcement forum, but mainly good guys...

There is another thread over there that is the world according to Uli... Mainly a glorified PR exercise, but few people really tell him to his face what they think and say behind his back.

Wayne, as I said I don't intend to build anything in that direction, my opening post was merely out of interest for the technology involved. At that point I hadn't seen the EMT schematics yet, I discovered while searching for some design examples. I'll send you a link with a download link for the whole manual including schematics. But you're right, that would definitely be the right approach.
