Here my little green M/S device. Actually this is a two in one device, one half is the M/S thingy, the other half is a distribution amp from Neumann.
I used a JLM AC/DC. Custom painted front panel. An useful audio device without knobs and switches
It's fun to play in the M/S domain. Thanks for sharing this project. I can recommend it.

These connectors are from a swiss company named Lemo (http://www.lemo.com). They are common in German TV stations. I used to work for a decade as a TV audio engineer and decided one day to use such a patchbay system (which is very good but unfortunately quite expensive) in my studio. So this device is an extension to my patchbay.

Great looking chassis mount Holger, the green is a nice looking color.

The company I worked for used 8 pin Limo connectors on the camera controllers; very high quality machined connectors. We were paying $39.00 for them; their coaxial video connectors were $33.00 ea.

I've seen some Lemo's used in TV broadcast remote applications here in the US.

Bill mentioned the green color and I'm reminded of vintage Altec gear. Your build has this retro vibe to it.

I've always tried to give my builts a vintage look.
After some experiments with powder coating I decided to use custom painted front panels from now on for my builds.
As an example, I've bought a 3 mm thick 500 x 500 mm aluminum panel for roughly 35€, the costs for the green painting was around 90€.
One can get 10 RU of front panels from such a 500 x 500 mm panel which is not so expensive.
