Re: Entropy

Next I will run these through the washing machine and see what happens... When I run out of patches this experiment will be over... I started with 20 patches but I am now down to only a handful. JR I doubt iron on patches can stand much gardening work and machine washing, I would draw the sewing ma...

Re: Entropy

Beware of Aluminium cookware. It is a known trouble with acidic food.
It seems it can be a serious health hazard. Could start an Alzheimer condition.
I am ditching all aluminum stuff and only keep stainless steel and cast iron.

Beautiful clok all designed and made of your own using RTL logic. This reminds me my first digital design with DTL logic to make a test equipment for a X Y plotter that basically had two ten bits counter. That was using boards of discrete components. Such boards were. 2 JK flip flop 6 Nand I was alr...

That is a bit paradoxical, it is good when it is not so cold outside. It is even worse, at very low temperatures; The outdoor heat exchang...

Re: beverly hillbilly storm windows and cybernetic heat control

I have some spare GFCI outlets in my stash, so the outlet by my bed now looks like a good candidate for GFCI. JR I searched to know what a GFCI is. I found a lengthy description that keeps repeating it protects from faults but nothing really clear ( or I was not patient enough ). In France we have ...

The datasheet is clear.
Here high gain is needed.

I notice that some new weather remotes track barometric pressure too (mine doesn't)... it seems temp, humidity, and barometric pressure should be enough information to predict weather.

JR
Barometric pressure is the most important.
