Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

A new study conducted by MIT scientists and released this week reveals that the six foot social distancing and limited occupancy guidelines made law in most of the civilized world Made law? Where? I guess not the U.S., maybe Canada or Europe. Even in the third reich of PA it's a mandate. Mandates a...

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

The vaccine passport is a privacy, government control issue... (show us your papers)... This seems in contradiction of HIPPA laws and now the administration knowing they cant do it legally are hinting that private industry should do it for them... Covid has blown the lid off HIPAA in so many ways. ...

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

And now the push for a vaccine passport is becoming a daily news item........ One more thing to interfere with my 3rd attempt at a vacation in 2 years.

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

And here I was avoiding bats all along. Well, by now the original whistle blowers are either in a labor camp or have become underground fertilizer.

Re: Mask-Wearing: This Is Our Life Now (Or is It?)

I've confirmed with many that they never realized they read lips in conversation until masks came along. Honestly, early on I figured at my age I was losing my hearing, or at least my wife thought so, since I mastered selective hearing years ago. I wonder how many people went for hearing tests think...

Re: Texar Prism clone prototype

I had some time to mess with the design and a few code tweaks, fixed a bug and also changed the method I was using. It now peak limits quite well and the overall RMS level was greatly improved. The core functionality tracks alongside my analog prisms so Im fairly confident I can move this on to a fi...

Re: Mask-Wearing: This Is Our Life Now (Or is It?)

I keep forgetting to grab mine when I go to the store. Apparently many have been also, so I don't feel alone. Being the 1 year anniversary of "14 days to flatten the curve" they are pushing a bunch of stats out to celebrate. One study said 1 in 5 people polled out of 1434 surveyed know someone who d...

Re: Texar Prism clone prototype

The 4 bands and both channels are up and running. Its comparable to the analog units in producing loudness and presence but one drawback is the ability to hard limit peaks. I will continue tweaking the design as time permits. Im actually surprised it performs as well as it does considering it is a m...

Re: Am I in the wrong business?

There must be a shortage of turntables out there. After visiting that store in my full body PPE I stopped at a nearby Best Buy and they were sold out of any turntables. I'm not talking about the Crosley toys, those are a dime a dozen, I mean actual decent component turntables. I popped on B&H and mo...
