I got the encode stuffed and powered up over the weekend with no problems. I'll integrate it with the monitor controller soon. I don't think I'll get around to a full build for a while.

Have you guys thought about doing an M/S 500? Someone on GS said he wished there was one available. It sounded like a good idea to me. There isn't much commercially available in M/S matrices. You might sell a few if you offer finished 500 series units. FWIW.

What is the orientation of the jumpers on the board? To disable the insert point is the jumper installed from one silkscreened box to the box below?

Does this make sense? Yes. I don't think it is too much to ask of a user to lower the input if it's really hot. +27dBu is plenty of headroom or +19 for a fully correlated input.
