Re: Entropy

I just used the last two iron on patches to repair my pants of many colors. https://www.proaudiodesignforum.com/forum/php/download/file.php?id=769&t=1 There is now one more color, a very dark blue bridging across the red to the light blue patch on the outside, and a another vertical patch on th...

Re: Entropy

My replacement (plastic) watering can arrived... I determined the leak in my old one was not easily patchable (cracked along a seam). The new one is far superior, but still cheap blow mold technology so may last only another 15 years. ====== Still making sawdust and smoke in the yard today but I not...

Re: Entropy

I just did another power reset.... My direct TV DVR/receiver got stupid and was not recording shows it was programmed to. I removed the power plug... it took a few minutes to download a clean operating system from the satellite and reset. It appears to be behaving now. === I am still dealing with sq...

Re: Gentle persuasion over time

I'm glad you're OK JR. I had a large arm on an Oak in my backyard drop this weekend during one of our many rainstorms. lots of dropped limbs this year. They are predicting heavy hurricane season this year, we've been lucky last few years with storms veering north into the Atlantic (must be global w...

Re: Gentle persuasion over time

I understand the relief when the last one is down. I lived this at a place of mine and the place of a son. One uses to keep the most difficult tree, last. As you had, nobody hurt ( and a chain saw blade bent ). Yesterday when it started to rain (got 1/2") I drove over to my small motor whisper...

Re: Gentle persuasion over time

Tree is down off the stump so all that is left is cutting big wood into short liftable pieces.

Re: Gentle persuasion over time

The troubles with steering lines: Nylon lines are too stretchy to pull hard when the tree starts to fall following gravity. Steel lines are stiffer, but damn dangerous, if it breaks, the backlash is deadly. understood... I have had steel lines slip their swages but not catastrophic failure. I know ...
