Loft TS-1

Post by brianroth »

Our studio acquired a Loft test set as part of a bunch of other stuff we bought. Seems to work well!

Question for John. What brand of knobs were used (particularly the large one used for "frequency")? Ours is missing the center colored insert, and we wanna restore it! <g>

IIRC it was probably sifam.. I have some smaller knob caps laying around but not that large... I'll keep my eye's peeled for onsey in my junk pile but I am not optimistic...

Gold line still sells TS-1 (only $862.75) and I still don't get a friggin penny from them.

Gold line should sell knob covers, but looking at their other prices be prepared to pay...

They're selling the book I co-authored and we gave away free for $19.95.... They're worse than a drug company.

PS: As predicted the slow cookers are on sale with decent discounts... Do you like chili?

http://www.sifam.co.uk/knobsSelector.as ... obs_Collet

looks like either 470 0r 471 or Image

actually a few may use the same knob cap...

But good luck finding a distributor to sell you just one...

Let me know what diameter the knob is. I may have a Siam knob I can spare.

The knob cap is just over 1-1/4" diameter, but probably metric. I just measured on my TS-1

Ha! Nothing is worse than drug companies...
(couldn't resist  )
At least drug companies are not selling books I co-authored or products I designed, without giving me a taste.

Thanks for the info. We'll just live with it sans the cap for the frequency knob.

Wow, memory may be wrong but it sounds like the price has gone way up from what I remember 20 years ago, opposite of most legacy hardware on autopilot. Maybe that's a 'go away' price?
