The BUF634 is dead, long live the BUF634A

I am really unsure which large customer persuaded them to port a 20 year old design onto their latest 36V SiGe process but there we go. If you need a 200MHz buffer here you are :)

I'm kinda glad that the original BUF634 is still active (for now) owing to it being available in a 5 pin TO-220. http://www.ti.com/product/BUF634

The SiGe process is used in the OPA1612.
They're pretty good parts.

Wonder where these are being used en mass?

Ultrasound?
