Red Pitaya

This is where we talk about testing, measuring and repairing things. Sometimes we have to repair the equipment we use to test, measure and repair other things. It's an endless cycle of fixing the broken things we need to fix other broken things.

I recall Cyril Bateman using a 12 bit PicoScope and averaging readings so I think there's some tricks you can use to expand DR.
Not sure which part of the series it is in: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=153&p=4573

To be honest the two things that floated my boat were the RLC analyzer and the software-defined-radio.
The SDR looks to be in a slightly different kit.

I just came from Mouser' site - I'll have to go back and check US pricing.

I think the Rigol scopes are 8 bit yet vary in the available DR as defined by the minimum vertical scale. The lower end scopes are 2mV per division while the high end ones are 1uV per division. Both 8 bit.

I have the PEAK LCR meter. This has a few more features like selectable frequencies for measurement but it's 4X the price of the PEAK.
