TI has not discontinued the NE5532 or NE5534. Apparently TI temporarily EOL'd the 5534 and some 5532 variants while they upgraded the process to 300 mm fab. As of June 2024 both devices are "active" including DIP packaging.
Discontinuing the 5532/34 would be a disaster IMHO. Not to say that there are not better op-amps out there, but finding an audio op-amp with all the benefits of a 5532 and the same price tag is still not available after 50-something years? Crazy...
